This will block all chompers so mo matter how fast or slow you go, none can follow you.

Ride the green transporter up.
Step on the Rainbow button on the right
Walk over to the gems on the other side of the now-active rainbow bridges. Pick
up all items
Hit yellow button in that area.
Walk all the way over far left and ride a yellow transporter into the gem area.
Pick up all items.
Hit the Rainbow button in that area.
Go back to the middle section and ride the Green Transporter down.
Step up/right to the yellow transporter.
Step Up to the light blue transporter.
Your setup should look like the image below.
