Guardians
The world of Vanguard wasn't always the home of the Mon Saar. We know of an ancient race that used to rule the planet, then disappeared without a trace. Their history, and even their name, has been lost in time, but their ancient ruins still stand as a monument to their civilization. According to legend, a number of guardians were left behind on Mon Saar to guard those ruins. No such entities have ever been encountered.
