Place the boomers as shown in the screenshot for blowing up the correct barrels. Then press the following sequence of buttons as labeled in the screenshot:

2. Place 2nd boomer on yellow(8)
3. Place 3rd boomer on blue(3)
4. you => orange(7)
5. indigo(6) => red(5)
6. you => indigo(4)
7. yellow(8) => orange(7)
8. blue(3) => blue(1)
9. orange(7) yellow(8)
10. red(5) => orange(7)
11. blue(1) => yellow(C)
12. yellow(8) => blue(3)
13. yellow(C) => red(A)
14. blue(3) => blue(1)
15. you => red(5)
16. red(A) => yellow(C)
17. orange(7) => indigo(4)
18. you => blue(3)
19. yellow(C) => red(A)
20. indigo(4) => orange(7)
21. red(A) => yellow(C)
22. blue(1) => red(A)
23. Move yourself to the orange gate at one of the paths to the star.
24. Move the boomer on red(A) to the other orange gate at the other path to
the star.
25. Move boomer on yellow(C) to red(A).
26. Move other boomer to purple square button. The star is now yours to
grab.
